The following was again before the House in third reading: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 101(L&C) "An Act relating to certain irrevocable transfers in trust, to the jurisdiction governing a trust, to challenges to trusts or property transfers in trust, to the validity of trust interests, and to transfers of certain trust interests; and providing for an effective date." 1997-02-24 House Journal Page 0454 HB 101 The question to be reconsidered: "Shall CSHB 101(L&C) pass the House?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSHB 101(L&C)--RECONSIDERATION Third Reading Final Passage YEAS: 33 NAYS: 3 EXCUSED: 3 ABSENT: 1 Yeas: Austerman, Barnes, Berkowitz, Bunde, Cowdery, Croft, Davies, Davis, Dyson, Foster, Green, Grussendorf, Hanley, Hodgins, Hudson, James, Joule, Kelly, Kohring, Kott, Martin, Masek, Mulder, Nicholia, Ogan, Phillips, Porter, Rokeberg, Ryan, Sanders, Therriault, Vezey, Williams Nays: Elton, Kemplen, Kubina Excused: Brice, Ivan, Kookesh Absent: Moses Davies changed from "Nay" to "Yea". And so, CSHB 101(L&C) passed the House on reconsideration. Representative Porter moved and asked unanimous consent that the roll call on the passage of the bill be considered the roll call on the effective date clause. There being no objection, it was so ordered. CSHB 101(L&C) was referred to the Chief Clerk for engrossment.
